EthnicityThe population of Central Otago has more people who identify themselves as European and less who see themselves as Māori or Pacific Islander than the national average.
Note that “Other” includes those who called themselves “New Zealander” or “Kiwi”. As you can see, a significant number of Central Otago residents felt that this was the best description of how they see themselves.
