Held each year at the Cromwell Sports Club on Barry Avenue, this is truly an event for everyone. Winding around the Cromwell streets and lake front, this is a fun event to walk, run or push a pram. We include the Schools Family Challenge Relay in this event; this is a great team building event seeing the children support their teammates around the course.
The Half Marathoners carry on out into the rural areas for their circuit and can be guaranteed a head wind some part of the course. The lawn area at Anderson Park provides the ideal spot to picnic, warm up and watch the competitors come up the ‘shute’ to the finish line.
The prize giving is well supported by sponsors so there are a generous amount of spot prizes to hand out to as many competitors as possible.
