This Spring Tourism Central Otago (TCO) will launch a new Food & Wine Campaign called EAT.TASTE.CENTRAL. Our aim is to increase awareness of the diverse wine, food and beverage options available throughout the region, plus drive visitation and spend in a traditional shoulder season. Read More

Regional Business Partner Programme
The Regional Business Partners has been running in Central Otago for over six years. In this time, we have connected over 140 businesses with support and allocated over $120,000 of central government funding for business development training. The scheme has had particularly strong engagement from the tourism sector. Read More

A Taste of Central Otago - Gertz Larder
Earlier this year TCO worked with local foodie Glenda Rogers of Gertz Larder and catering, developing a biscuit that represents Central Otago for use as a promotional gift. The flavours of sour cherries, thyme, almonds and raspberries are baked into little biscuits packed with colour and goodness. Read More

Media - TV3's 'The Cafe'
TCO hosted the presenter and crew from TV3's mid-morning show 'The Cafe' in late October. The three segments featured Cromwell, the Roxburgh Gorge Trail and Clyde and the Otago Central Rail Trail. They have now shown on air and received excellent viewer numbers via social media. Read More

Tourism Industry Aotearoa (TIA) have launched a free, practical and simple-to-use online tool designed for tourism operators and Regional Tourism Organisations.
