Sounds a bit dodgy, right? Well, the passports in question are actually beautifully produced souvenirs for the Roxburgh Gorge and Clutha Gold cycle and walking trails. Currently being sold at the region’s i-Sites—and with profits from sales funding track enhancement and maintenance—we’d now like to make them available at more places along the trails.
Each 24-page passport contains maps highlighting each trail’s special features and an interesting commentary of heritage sites and geological features. There’s room for notes and drawings, as well as space to collect ‘pencil rubbings’ at eight rubbing stations along the way. It’s a great way for our visitors to record their trail journey!

Otago Central Rail Trail - Passports
Make sure you have plenty of Otago Central Rail Trail passports to provide to rail trailers this season! They are popular with rail trailers because they are a great record for them to "stamp" their way along the trail to record their progress. Remember, all passport proceeds received by the Trust go into trail development.
