Held in Cromwell the fruit bowl of the south, the Cromwell Cherry Festival celebrates the first delicious stonefruit of the season.
This is a unique event where contestants compete to spit a cherry stone the farthest to become the New Zealand Cherry Stone Spitting Champion.
Cromwell Cherry Festival is on the 31st of December 11:30am - 1:30pm in McNultys Garden, Cromwell Heritage Precinct. A festival including the fantastic magician, Jonathan Usher. Live music, a bouncy castle for the children and face painting and more cherry themed events.
Join in the fun and festivities, and make sure you have a go to spit your cherry stone the farthest. Remember if you win you will be NZ Champion.
