Most people will be aware that the historic Ancient Briton Hotel in Naseby suffered serious damage in a fire this month. The good news is that there were no casualties – and the local volunteer brigades did an amazing job to confine damage to the rear of the building.
Although the Fire has closed the bar and restaurant for the foreseeable future, the separate Ancient Briton accommodation building was unaffected and is still operating.
The great news is that within 12 hours of the Fire, Adrian and Jan were able to have the Royal Hotel (Naseby towns other historic hotel) restaurant and bar up and running and ready to welcome guests. This is great news for the Naseby community as they enter the busy summer season, as it provides locals and visitors a place to relax and enjoy local hospitality.
