The 2018 Eat.Taste.Central Regional Menu in association with MiNDFOOD is on between 14 September and 22 October. Inviting locals and visitors to take their taste buds on a journey through the flavours of Central Otago.
Local cafes, restaurants and cellar doors have collectively produced a ‘Central Otago Regional Menu’ that will celebrates our place in four categories: Burger & Sandwich Challenge, Pie Challenge, Main Meal and Sweet/Dessert. The theme for this year’s event is ‘Slow Cooked and Homegrown, the flavours of Central’.
You can vote online for your favourite menu items in the “Peoples’ Choice” Award and an invited judging panel will select its top picks and an overall winner.
Alongside the Regional Menu four special Regional Food focus weekend's will be held featuring unique events, accommodation, food & wine tours and other local experiences.
