EAT.TASTE.CENTRAL - Campaign Overview
16 June 2017

This Spring Tourism Central Otago (TCO) will launch a new Food & Wine Campaign called EAT.TASTE.CENTRAL. Our aim is to increase awareness of the diverse wine, food and beverage options available throughout the region, plus drive visitation and spend in a traditional shoulder season.

Food & Wine and related experiences are one of the fastest growing segments in the tourism market, and an area that Central Otago has some undisputable strengths. It is also an area that TCO has been putting a greater emphasis on its promotional activities, and one of three areas of special focus for Tourism New Zealand’s marketing.

EAT.TASTE.CENTRAL will encourage locals and visitors to explore the tastes of Central Otago over a 4-week period, and includes a public and judged voting competition.

This includes the development of an inspiring “Regional Menu” that highlights the best of Central Otago food and wine – and will be housed in a customised section of www.centralotagonz.com

Campaign dates: 20th September to 23rd October 2017

This is a significant opportunity to grow the profile of your business and expand your customer base by participating in this campaign.
