Altitude Bikes was established in 2002 and was one of the first cycle companies on the Otago Central Rail Trail.

Dave & Sue have a passion for cycling and mountain bike riding, particularly in their own “backyard”. They combine personal experience, local knowledge and attention to detail, to provide you with the best experience possible. Dave has over 20 years biking experience, is a qualified mountain bike guide / cycle mechanic and has a vast knowledge of the single-track mountain bike trails. Whether it’s a trip on the Otago Central Rail Trail, the Clutha Gold & Roxburgh Gorge Trails, or the newest ride, the Lake Dunstan Trail, they will take care of all your holiday needs.

Itinerary building, shuttle services, bike hire and accommodation can all be taken care of to ensure you have the best cycling holiday possible. You may like to spend a few days biking the trails enjoying the unique Central Otago scenery, or just spend one day biking the highlights, whatever you need Dave & Sue are here to help. Planning boutique trips for small groups are Dave & Sue’s specialty.
