Recognised in the Cuisine Good Food Guide as one of the top 200 restaurants in New Zealand, our menu focuses exclusively on small plates designed for sharing. It’s ingredient-led, seasonal, and unpretentious – built around bold flavours and a style of dining that encourages conversation and exploration. You can graze lightly or settle in for a full afternoon or evening.

The wine list sits at the heart of what we do: Over 200 bottles with around 40 available by the glass. Showcasing both established names and small producers from Central Otago and beyond. We also pour a rotating range of local craft beers along with a concise, well-selected back bar.

We’ve been here in some form since 1862. The valley has changed, the menu has evolved, but we’re still providing warm, friendly hospitality, pouring great wine, serving honest food and welcoming locals and travelers alike.
