CRA (Central Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Ltd) was formed in 1996 by Bruce Blackman and Bob Johnston after the sellout of the commercial trading dept of Central Electric Ltd. the former Otago Central Electric Power Board. Bob retired in early 2014 and the company is now under sole ownership of Bruce who has over 40 years’ experience in the Refrigeration and Air Conditioning industry.

CRA currently have a staff of eight in Alexandra and three in Wanaka including three Refrigeration Engineers, three Registered Electricians, three Technicians, and two Office Support staff.

We cover the Central Otago area supplying, installing and servicing all brands of heat pump / air conditioning product both domestic and commercial.

Our premium brand is Daikin, and we are Central Otago's only Daikin Dealer, we also hold dealerships for Mitsubishi and Panasonic heat pumps.

Commercial refrigeration sales and service is offered by the company.

We're also a Fisher and Paykel authorized service center for Whiteware product and are service agents for all other brands of Whiteware appliances.
