Just under an hour from Queenstown Airport, even less from Wanaka and on the main Christchurch - Queenstown and Queenstown - Dunedin highways, Forage Café could not be better positioned for hungry travellers.
Light and airy, Forage is where food is fab and beverages bedazzling. Not to mention amazing vineyard and mountain views and customer features such as laptop plugs and complimentary Wi-Fi. There’s ample off-road parking; very different to Queenstown where besides traffic congestion, finding parking can be a real issue.
Forage is one of three stand-alone hospitality outlets at The Gate, Cromwell’s large, eye-catching hospitality and tourist centre. The other two are Five Stags Bar & Restaurant and Harvest Hotel. Also in The Gate grounds is a conference/wedding centre and Super Liquor store.
