Two days of New Zealand's best racing with an amazing selection of historic and classic vehicles battling it out on the world-class Highlands circuit!
The Highlands Festival of Speed at Highlands is back for 2026!
After taking a year off in 2025, this fan-favourite event now returns as a biannual highlight, hitting the Highlands circuit on Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th March!

Categories - HVRA & Highlands Nostalgic Classics, Mainland Muscle Cars, Vintage Car Club, Jackson Orchards Sprint Series, Highlands Modern Classics, SS Cup & OSCA.
Ticket Information
- Tickets are $40 per day or $70 Weekend Pass
- Kids 16 and under are FREE. Gates open from 8am and track action starts from 9am.
- Every ticket includes entry into the National Motorsport Museum, Young Guns Virtual Reality Room & Loo with a View!
Off Track Entertainment
- The Highlands Cafe will be open for refreshments and there will be food vendors on the Terrace and down at the Pits. As well as a public bar on the Terrace.
- Kids Zone including Face Painting, Bouncy Castle and Outdoor Games on Terrace.
- On the day you can book in for Go Karts for $30 per person per race and Mini Golf for half price, this can booked in at the Museum Reception or down at the Go Kart Reception.
Competitor entries and Car Show registrations will be open in December.
