Visit Nigel Wilson's home gallery which is situated in an extensive, picturesque and tranquil garden setting at the end of a meandering tree-lined valley.
Nigel Wilson’s home gallery is located on Ferris Rd, signposted, 4 kilometres from Alexandra township on the Manuherikia highway to Omakau. The gallery is extensively stocked with Nigel’s work.
Nigel has been a full time artist since leaving a teaching profession at Cargill High School in 1997. He has a Fine Arts Degree from Ilam, University of Canterbury, completed in 1982. Since then he has exhibited regularly, winning a number of painting awards and is well represented in public and private collections throughout New Zealand and has more than 30 solo exhibitions to his name.
Nigel moved to Alexandra in the year 2000, he continues to boldly paint the Otago landscape using oil on canvas.
