Sarita Orchard

Originally a mixed orchard it has evolved to specialise in cherry production. Sarita Orchard now produces and packs 15 varieties of cherries for the local and export markets.

Sarita Orchard was first planted in 1984 after the purchase of Sarita Farm on the outskirts of Cromwell by a group of local businessmen. It was one of the first syndicated orchards planted in the Cromwell area and became Sarita Orchard Ltd in 1999.

Sarita Orchard based in sunny Central Otago - famous for the production of premium summerfruit and wine. The orchard is located in the heart of New Zealand's cherry growing region five kilometres from Cromwell, close to the banks of the Kawarau River as it flows into Lake Dunstan.

Sarita Orchard roadside fruit stall sells the finest fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables, dried fruit, handmade jams, sauces and chutneys. Orchard shop is open from October until the end of May.
